Overview

Responsible for hiring, motivating, coaching, supervising and organizing the sales team. You will be in charge of managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. You oversee the activities and performance of the sales team by setting, tracking and measuring sales goals.

The sales manager will be an individual sales contributor and a supervisor to all business and sales development representatives.  The sales manager will have an individual and team quota. 

Day in the Life

  •  Lead the sales team.
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Set, track, measure, and meet sales goals.
  • Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Coordinate with marketing on lead generation.
  • Develop the sales team by coaching, teaching, motivating, counseling, and product knowledge education.
  • Understand Instant Teams, our products, and services. 
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
  • Responsible for quota, performance KPI’s for the sales team
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting numbers
  • Create a culture of accountability by setting appropriate metrics and linking compensation to results
  • Report to the Director of Sales
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales to ensure company wide initiatives and plans are implemented & executed.

Required Education and Experience

  • 7+ year experience in sales, business development, or a related field
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Experience managing and directing a team


Preferred Education and Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of business and marketing techniques and best practices
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to providing a high level and seamless buyer experience

Available to work 40 hours/week and be available during your time zone’s core working hours

Eastern Time Zone Team Members
10 am – 4 pm

Central Time Zone Team Members
9 am – 3 pm

Mountain Time Zone Team Members
9 am – 3 pm

Pacific Time Zone Team Members
8 am – 2 pm

Hawaiian Time Zone Team Members
7 am – 1 pm

The remaining 2 hours are flexible on the front end or the back end, with approval and communication to your supervisor.
